Cosplay or Maid cafe?

I really want to do an OC Cafe with the basis of it being maid or cosplay. The problem is, while I can do cosplay and have a maid cosplayed character, i can't have a cosplayer if it's a maid.

I want people's oppinions.

If we do cosplay, both genders can be involved more easily. If we do maid, we could have "buttlers" but that would be tougher...

And when I say "cosplay," I mean in the generic sense. Not an anime character, but dressing as a "maid" or "school girl" or "ship captain" or "prince." Nobody specific. The characters would just dress up and pretend to be whatever they were dressed as.

And rather than have it work like the "Love Cafe" RP under crossovers, where people can come and go as they please, we'd probably keep it as servers, return costumers, and then generic customers that are just there to fill out the RP but aren't really characters.

Anybody else have a thought on this? Even if it's "don't do it at all"?

Hmmm....I don't know. If the Love Shop isn't doing well I don't know if this one will do well. You can knock yourself out and try it if you want to though. I'm not sure if I would join it or not....it depends on the plot....

Does it just revolve around the shop?
Do the "servers" have a backround story/life?
Does time matter?

That's why I posted a discussion. XD I'm not sure myself.

Probably yes to background outside the shop, but not too much. If we do too much, the RP'll just die because no one will be interacting outside the shop and we'll kinda end up like OC HS with the outlier stuff. But if we keep it in the shop, it'll be like everyone hanging out only at the school and we'll have a similar problem...

We need to find a happy medium, I guess.
