The Loss of Onemanga.com

Post by sailorstar165 on Tue Jul 27, 2010 7:58 am

It seems that Onemanga.com is no longer going to disappear from the internet. Did anybody use this site? Did anybody use a different site?

Wait, so onemanga.com is going to disappear?
Well, I usually looked up manga on google, and found a lot on live journal.
Or I just watched the anime at animecrazy.net, it's a great site for english subs.

Onemanga only had manga. No anime. I know where to go for anime. Just not manga.

The reason Onemanga gives is that Japanese publishers have changed their oppinions on scanlations and don't want them around anymore. The site wants to abide by their wishes, and so they will take down the manga they have.

I is sad. That's how I always read D.Gray-Man...

Well, usually onemanga didn't have the manga I usually read. The only manga they had that I really read was Tales Of Symphonia, which I want to buy that series set anyway. But, I have to buy it in Japanese.... T_T

I'll just have to look for D.Gray-Man elsewhere, I guess. I can think of a d.gray-man website I used to watch the anime on. I think they had the manga, too... I'll have to get the URL off my old computer. XD

Haha. I usually buy the manga. DX But I don't have much since I'm a picky anime person.

I usually do, too, but I can't wait for DGM manga (it's too exciting!). I own all the manga that are out in the US, too. It's just that the manga in Japan is four volumes ahead of ours.

Mangastream.com and mangareader.net are still up. Yet they only have recent chapters. They delete old ones to keep the other people happy. Dgrayman is on mangastream I know of.
